About ZBT

The Kappa Chapter of Zeta Beta Tau has a rich tradition of excellence at Cornell University. ZBT is an extremely strong national fraternity with over 120,000 active members. While most houses tout their diversity, at ZBT diversity is a reality. The strength of our chapter is built on developing the interests of our brothers.

ZBT is a rich blend of men from each school at Cornell as well as a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. The fine men of ZBT can be found on and off campus leading and participating in such activities as the Interfraternity Council, the Cornell Daily Sun, Cornell Crew, WVBR Radio Station, Hillel, and other societies. Brothers also participate in Fraternity League soccer, softball, basketball, and flag football intramurals. Despite our unbelievably diverse backgrounds, we maintain a strong sense of brotherhood which we carry with us throughout our studies, work, and social life. We are proud to be in ZBT, and we defend our fellow brothers and our honor during the best and worst of times. It's great to be in Kappa.

Although ZBT is composed of many minds of people, we are all strongly committed to the principles of brotherhood. Despite our size, we have established a tight sense of brotherhood, which will stay for us for the rest of our lives. The brotherhood at ZBT stands for much more than can be explained here. So, we invite you to visit us at Edgecliff and see why we take such pride in Zeta Beta Tau.
